Illustration Approach
For this book, I created a series of vibrant and engaging illustrations in a painterly raster style using Photoshop. The challenge was to maintain Oscar’s constant presence in his aquarium while still making him an active and expressive character.
Final Result
The final result includes a beautifully illustrated journey through 25 detailed scenes, each bringing Oscar’s story to life with rich textures and playful compositions. The book perfectly blends humor, warmth, and tradition, offering children an engaging way to learn about Hanukkah while enjoying the antics of their octopus friend.
