Illustration Approach
I used a raster-based digital painting style to create warm, expressive illustrations that capture the joy and energy of a family celebration. The images highlight both the humorous moment, like playful pets chasing a vacuum, and the heartfelt ones, as the family gathers to celebrate Passover.
Final Result
The book’s illustrations tell a story of resilience and creativity, as the Pavon family finds a way to celebrate their Seder in an entirely new way. From preparing traditional foods to setting up a desert-like tent indoors, each scene is filled with warmth and laughter.
